To expand the competitive sport of rowing in Minnesota by supporting organizations and individuals of all ages and abilities in reaching their fullest potential.  We accomplish this through the provision of facilities, equipment, coaching, education, organizational and administrative assistance, event hosting and financial support.

Congratulations to Zach Ellison!!  Not only did Zach take second place in the men's single at US Elite Nationals, Zach also won the trials for the U23 National Team.  As such, Zach will now be representing the US in Germany at the U23 World Rowing Championships this July in the men's single.  For information on how to help support Zach, contact Patrick Johnson at patrick.johnson@mnrf.org.

 

Congratulations to Matt Schnobrich and Micah Boyd!!  Both natives of St. Paul, MN were recently named to the men's eight which will row at the Olympics in Beijing.  If you would like to help support Matt or Micah in their efforts, please e-mail Patrick Johnson at patrick.johnson@mnrf.org for more information.

 

Minnesota's Newest Rowing Club: 

Twin Cities Youth Rowing, TCYR, is pleased to announce its spring 2008 debut at Bryant Lake Regional Park, conveniently located at the intersection of Interstate Hwy. 494 and Crosstown Hwy. 62.  TCYR was established exclusively for high school youth 14 to 19 years of age with a mentoring program for students enrolled in post secondary education.  Take time and browse our website, www.TCYRC.org, for more details.
